Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) whose center is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and is part of the Organization of the Islamic Conference came with a delegation on an official visit to Turkey, to hold talks. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) provides finance in order to expand trade among the member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
During his visit, the IDB President Ahmad Mohamed Ali met with top Turkish officials in Ankara; first with President Abdullah Gül, then with the State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, State Minister Cevdet Yılmaz, Treasury Undersecretary İbrahim Çanakçı and TİKA President Musa Kulaklıkaya.
During his talks with TİKA President Musa Kulaklıkaya, the IDB President Ali expressed his satisfaction with the mutual co-operation between the two administrations. He also stated that more co-operation with projects could be developed and carried out in the same countries, with the same understanding.
Stating that the relations gained momentum with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between TİKA and the IDB in 2008, TİKA President Musa Kulaklıkaya further stated that the development of existing co-operation would bring benefits to both sides.
